If you wish to delete your Cheque Chopper account, follow the steps below. Please note that once your account is deleted, all associated data, including saved cheques and split transactions, will be permanently removed.
Step 1: Log in to Your Account
To delete your account, you must be logged in. Open the Cheque Chopper app or website and enter your credentials (email and password) to access your account.
If you have forgotten your password, use the “Forgot Password” option on the login page to reset it before proceeding.
Step 2: Navigate to the Profile Page
Once logged in, go to your profile page. You can access it by clicking on your profile picture or name in the top-right corner of the app or website.
On the profile page, you’ll find options to manage your account settings and preferences.
Step 3: Click “Delete Account”
Scroll down to the bottom of the profile page. You’ll see a button labeled “Delete Account”. Click this button to initiate the account deletion process.
Step 4: Confirm Your Decision
A confirmation pop-up will appear, asking if you’re sure you want to delete your account. This is to prevent accidental deletions.
Click “Yes” to confirm. If you change your mind, you can click “Cancel” to exit the process.
Step 5: Receive Confirmation
After confirming, your account will be deleted, and you’ll receive a notification or email confirming the deletion. You will no longer be able to access your Cheque Chopper account.
